These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the StudyWorms website and services. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using StudyWorms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Description of Service

StudyWorms is an academic writing assistance platform that connects students with independent, subject-matter writers for research, drafting, editing, and related support across a range of paper types and academic levels. Work delivered through StudyWorms is intended to be used as a reference, model, or study aid — how you use the delivered material is your responsibility, and submitting someone else’s work as your own may breach your institution’s academic integrity policies.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. If you are under that age, you may use StudyWorms only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and Orders

To place an order, you submit a brief describing your topic, academic level, deadline, citation style, and any supporting materials. You’re responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the instructions you provide — the more specific your brief, the closer the delivered work matches what you actually need. You may update instructions after an order is placed by messaging your writer directly through the platform.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are calculated from academic level, deadline, length, and topic complexity, and are shown in full before you confirm an order — nothing is added afterward. Payment is processed through encrypted, third-party payment channels. Funds are held securely and released to the writer only once you have reviewed the delivered work and confirmed it meets your instructions.

5. Revisions

If delivered work doesn’t match the instructions you originally submitted, you’re entitled to free revisions. Revision requests should point to the specific instruction that wasn’t met; the writer will adjust the relevant part of the work rather than starting over. Requests that go beyond the original brief may be treated as a new order.

6. Refunds and Money-Back Guarantee

Because funds are held until you approve the delivered work, you’re not paying blind. If the deadline is missed, or the delivered work does not genuinely match the requirements you stated and the issue can’t be resolved through revisions, contact support to request a refund. Refunds are reviewed against the original order instructions and any revision history.

7. Confidentiality

Your identity is never shared with the writer assigned to your order, and completed orders are never resold, published, or shared with anyone outside your account. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is collected and used.

8. Use of Delivered Work

Once an order is completed and paid for, the delivered work is provided to you for your personal, non-commercial use as a reference, model, or study aid. StudyWorms retains no ongoing claim to reuse or resell material written for your specific order. You are responsible for using delivered work in a manner consistent with your institution’s academic integrity policies and any applicable law.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use StudyWorms for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity, to submit instructions designed to produce harmful or plagiarized content, or to interfere with the proper functioning of the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

StudyWorms provides academic writing assistance on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudyWorms is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including academic consequences resulting from how delivered work is used. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which StudyWorms operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction provides otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of StudyWorms after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
